It’s a beautiful thing
There comes a point in a relationship where there is no turning back. From that point on, it is all or nothing. From there, a relationship can continue to grow, or it can die. As scary (perhaps creepy) as one option is, and as sad as the next, there are none other than the two.
Different people perceive that this point comes at different times. Personally, I consider it to be the point where you can say that ever so important phrase with no rhyme or reason. No purpose. No prompting. No ulterior or hidden motives. Pure and genuine, unadulterated and honest confession. Information.
The greatest words ever uttered for any reason uttered for no reason is a sign that we have achieved the middle of those words, the purpose of mankind, the reason we were created, the meaning of life.
So, in the immortal words of Toby, Mike, and Kevin, “Say the words. Say the words. Say ‘I love you.’”
