Sunshine on my shoulders makes me happy but the songs you sing upset me because I can’t join in the dance for the kids say I’m too “gay” to play. So the game goes on without me as I dance in solidarity until one day it dawned on me that the game’s not worth the wait.

If we all dance alone in our bedrooms late at night, then from God’s point of view it might be a pretty sight. But from where I stand it seems that no one dances but me.
